The time of 1'48.943 set in the second session on Tuesday was enough to ensure he finished on top, but the Briton still improved the afternoon with a lap in 1'48.714, finishing in the final Superbike test .3 tenths ahead of the inevitable Toprak Razgatlioğlu.
