The double world champion does not currently have a 2020 MotoGP available, but in Superbike there is a Kawasaki for him. It's Manuel Puccetti's dream.

Johann zarco, are you interested in a Kawasaki to win in Superbike? On the sidelines of the Portimão tests, the name of the French rider who will leave KTM and who does not have MotoGP for 2020 bounces at every turn. If the Frenchman wants to get back into the game aiming for podiums and victories, the solution is at hand: just call. The Puccetti Racing team, for example, could offer the same technical package as for Toprak Razgatlioglu, a 22-year-old Turkish rider who will be with Yamaha official at the end of the season and dominated the first day of testing in Portimão. In the second season in the top category, Toprak has already climbed onto the podium seven times, playing for victory against Jonathan Rea on a few occasions.

WHAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE….
If a rider with great prospects but still a bit of a virgin like Toprak races at these levels, what could a rider like Johann Zarco, who with Yamaha MotoGP played with the best in the top category, do with the same technical package? Manuel Puccetti has been asking himself this question for several days now. And it is likely that there have already been a few hits on the French driver. But Johann Zarco, for obvious reasons, first wants to check what prospects he could still have in MotoGP, perhaps as a luxury test rider. Puccetti Racing is a branch of Kawasaki Europe and already has Elf–Total among its main sponsors: the French oil company could become a good ally to start negotiations. But Dorna is also very interested: a Frenchman of high lineage like Johann Zarco would be a boon for the promoter of Magny-Cours and would also play on the front of television interests, which is the main axis of the Spanish organization. For now, it's just a late summer dream, but who knows?

PORTIMÃO TEST, NO CHANGE
For his part, Manuel Puccetti took advantage of Toprak Razgatlioglu's domination during the first day of testing in Portimão. In the morning, the Turk lowered the track record by half a second. In the afternoon, with a much warmer track, there were no major changes (See summary here). This Sunday will take place the last two sessions.
