The time has come for the second World Supersport race in Indonesia on a Mandalika track which will offer dry conditions to the protagonists. The air is at 31° and the track at 51°. The wind is light and the clouds hardly threatening. For the moment, this second meeting of the season launched last weekend in Australia at Phillip Island is working in favor of Can Öncü and his Kawasaki. The Turk won his first victory in the category yesterday, Saturday, a domination that he continued during the warm-up this morning. However, nothing is certain in this discipline which has not yet designated its boss, nor its favorite brand since if Ducati and Kawasaki have registered the first two games in their hunting table, Yamaha like MV Agusta or even Triumph are well and well into it.

We will remember that it is always Open up with his Ducati leading the Championship. It is also he who starts in the lead from his pole position. He is followed by Öncü et Caricasulo.

Debise entry drop. Too bad, he set the fourth fastest time during the warm-up.

After the first lap the leading trio has already built up a small lead over the rest of the pack led by Manzi. Van Straalen fall in turn.

In the second round, Can Öncü carries an attack on the Ducati V2 of Open up who bows. The Turk is in good form since he is the author of the best lap. He takes half a second ahead from the start.

Manzi always leads the hunt ahead De Rosa et Tuuli. Schroetter and its MV Agusta contributes to the diversity of brands in the top 10. After 5 rounds, Load it pass Open up for second place. In front, Öncü more than eight tenths ahead.

After 7 rounds, Open up is in difficulty since joined by the peloton. Manzi passes and the Italian finds himself in the clutches of the Triumph of Tuuli. In front, Öncü control Load it.

There are 10 rounds left and if Öncü seems to have a good handle on his business, he will still have to observe the rise in Manzi who offered himself the scalp of Caricasulo.

Open up is fourth and has distanced itself from a group fighting for the top 5 made up of Schroetter, Tuuli, and NAVARRO.

7 laps from the goal, Manzi made the connection with the Turk on the Kawasaki who brought with him a Load it who doesn't give up. One lap later, the Italian on the Yamaha took control of the race. Load it follows. Öncü is now only third. All this before the eyes of Open up who can still hope for a podium.

Three laps from the checkered flag, Open up pass Öncü and therefore puts one foot on the third step of the podium.

The final sprint is launched as the charge of Load it on Manzi. The last lap promises to be epic. The Ducati rider returned to the wheel of his compatriot in Yamaha. He even took the lead on the last lap to win by a whisker under the checkered flag. Manzi is second, Open up on the podium. Öncü follows and Schroetter brings another top 5 to MV Agusta. Tuuli is sixth on the Triumph. The pilots will leave Indonesia and rest until 21th April where they will resume hostilities at Assen.
