Yamaha Motor Europe (YME) and the Yamaha Austria Racing Team GYTR Pro Shop (YART extension) have unveiled three stunning limited edition Replicas of the R1 Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team, on which the team secured its first podium finish at the Suzuka 8 Hours this year.

Team YART have secured second place overall in the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) season after a sensational season that saw them claim third place at the 24 Heures Motos du Mans, win the 8 Heures de Spa Motos and record another third place at the Bol d’Or. The highlight of the year was arguably their incredible second place at the 8 Hours of Suzuka achieved by Niccolò Canepa, Marvin Fritz and Karel Hanika, which allowed the team and its director, Mandy Kainz, to realize a lifelong ambition: to reach the podium of the legendary endurance race in Japan.

This result inspired the decision to create three new replicas of the Suzuka 1 Hours R8 featuring the special livery used by the YART team in Japan. Each model offers significantly higher performance, with each upgrade bringing the bikes closer to YART’s EWC-specified R1.

Commissioned by YART and supported by YME, the new limited edition replicas feature a range of high-performance upgrades and unique features, depending on the option chosen: the base model, the Evo version or the Factory Edition.

At €39999 excluding VAT, the base model develops 200 hp and is equipped with high-performance Öhlins racing suspension, including FGK 219 front forks, TTX YA468 rear shock absorber, as well as a racing-spec steering damper. It also comes with an Akrapovič factory exhaust kit, and lightweight Marchesini forged aluminium wheels with Bridgestone V02 racing slicks fitted front and rear.
Brembo manufactured the brakes, including high-quality GP4-RX calipers, Z04 pads and T-Drive discs, with the Italian company also supplying the brake adjuster fitted to the machine.
All bikes are equipped with a host of Genuine Yamaha Technology for Racing (GYTR) parts, including the latest rear wheel quick release system, which allows for faster rear wheel replacement during a tyre change, as well as racing footpegs, an ECU and a quick-pull throttle, all of which are essential components on Yamaha's racing machines.

At €44999 excluding VAT, the Evo model moves up a gear with suspensions that are even more track-oriented, including the addition of an Öhlins FGR252 fork. The Brembo brakes feature GP4-MS calipers, a nickel-plated rear caliper and a PR18x19 billet master cylinder to further improve braking performance. It is also equipped with a BMC air filter.

Finally at €59999 ex VAT, the Factory Edition of the bike features all the upgrades of the Evo, but also the full GYTR engine kit equipped with upgraded GYTR internals including camshafts, pistons, connecting rods, valve springs and more, which increases the bike's power output to 220hp, bringing it even closer to the EWC race-spec YART R1.

Mandy Kainz, Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team – Team Manager: “We are delighted to present these exclusive replicas of the Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team Suzuka 1 Hours R8. The three different versions allow customers to choose how close they want to get to the full EWC R1, and the livery is simply stunning. It was my dream and that of everyone in the team to stand on the podium for the first time at Suzuka; these bikes are a fantastic way to celebrate that achievement. I would like to thank everyone at YART, YME and all our partners who have done an incredible job in bringing this project to fruition and producing three distinct but equally stunning track bikes.”
