During the press conference ahead of the Catalan Grand Prix, Álvaro Bautista confirmed that he was complaining about Johann Zarco's overtaking.
As a reminder, these have not caused any falls to date, which is far from being the case for Álvaro Bautista who has long been described as a billiard ball in a bowling game... the world to upside down!
After Mugello you complained about the way Zarco overtook you. Have you spoken with him or does this deserve to be discussed in the security committee?
Alvaro Bautista : “no, I didn’t speak with him. I heard a few pilots say the same thing as me. He may be too aggressive in his overtaking. Obviously, no one crashed during one of his overtakes, (but) Vale had to go off the track. Yes, at Mugello he took me out and, a few laps later, he took Pedrosa out. For me, maybe it's too aggressive, right? But yes, it's his way of overtaking other riders, because in Moto2, I watched on TV last year, it was more or less the same thing. »
