Women's World Championships, Jerez: French riders Emily Bondi, Line Vieillard and Carla Mulot debrief their races

Discover the reactions of the French riders involved in the Women's World Championship, after the last round of the season in Jerez.

Women's World Championship

The Women's World Championship concluded last weekend at the Jerez circuit in Spain. María Herrera secured her second consecutive title , while Beatriz Neila and Paola Ramos completed the podium. Ramos dominated both races , winning by a wide margin.

On the French side, Lucie Boudesseul was still sidelined after fracturing two vertebrae but recently gave good news regarding her recovery . After being replaced by Justine Pedemonte at Misano and Donington, this time it was Carla Mulot who took over and made her World Championship debut. She joined Emily Bondi and Line Vieillard for this final round of 2026.

EMILY BONDI #4 – 10th and 11th

Emily Bondi

Overall ranking: 15th

Race 1 : “I finished in the top 10 in Race 1 at Jerez, just three seconds off the podium. What a race! Fighting in the leading group and maintaining that kind of speed! I lost eighth place on the last lap, but that’s racing, you keep pushing. I’ve never been this close to the top spots in the World Championship. It really shows how much progress we’ve made, and being consistently in the top 10 feels so good.”

"And the best part of all this? I'll be starting sixth on the grid for Race 2 thanks to my lap time, our best grid position since my debut in the World Championship!"

Race 2 : "For the first time this season, we scored points in both races this weekend and finished without any crashes. Further proof of all the work done this year to continue progressing and fighting to reach the front."

“Even though we only managed to finish one race per weekend, except here in Jerez, we still finished in the top 15 of the World Championship! We’ve established ourselves in the top 10, and that’s where we’ll be fighting in every race next year. This is just the beginning… the machine is up and running! […] The top 10 is our new benchmark. The next step is the front of the pack.”

LINE VIEILLARD #37 – 12th and Disqualified

Line Vieillard

Overall ranking: 17th

Race 1 : “Battled with the group for sixth place at the start of the race, I unfortunately made a false neutral and lost contact. After gradually working my way back up, I finished 12th, in the group for eighth place. I had my best race of the season in terms of pace, just four seconds off the podium.”

Race 2 : " The battle for the top 10 was intense, to the point that I didn't see the two-long-lap penalty I was given following contact in the first corner, resulting in my disqualification for not serving it… A harsh penalty that doesn't erase this very good weekend: two ninth-place grid positions in both races, and a very good pace less than a second off the lead."

CARLA MULOT #76 – 17th and 13th

Carla Mulot

Overall ranking: 27th

Race 1 : "I'm happy with this first race in the World Championship, even if the result isn't there. I got off to a good start but I couldn't stay with the group in front of me."

Race 2 : " I'm very happy with the last race of the season, with a good result. It was a superb experience."
