From Monday to Wednesday, the Sepang tests live

For the first official tests of the year, Dorna pulled out all the stops by offering continuous coverage of the three days of action. The live program will begin on each of the three days at 2:45 a.m. – French time – and end at 11 a.m., at the end of the 8 hours of daily driving.

This discontinuous thread will be proposed by means of the VideoPass, with its usual commentators Nick Harris, Matthew Birt, Steve Day and Amy Dargan, as well as of course Dylan Gray in the pit lane.

There will be many guests, which will be very useful to keep up to date with the evolution of new products, but also the recent 2017 pairs Lorenzo-Ducati, Vinales-Yamaha, Iannone-Suzuki and all the others, including of course our national Johann Zarco with our no less national team Tech 3, and Loris Baz on his Ducati Avintia.

The teams who toured last week at Sepang with their test drivers were not delighted with the bitumen, and it will be even less easy from this Monday as storms are forecast.

Dani Pedrosa set the test record in 2015 with pole position in 1'59.053, and his compatriot Jorge Lorenzo the lap record in 2'00.606, also in 2015 before the track was resurfaced.
