Honda, like all manufacturers, often lets its youngest engineers design more or less varied projects, to improve their training, and in the hope that an interesting prototype will emerge from this research for future commercial use. An original twin seems to have come from a creative mind, and the world's leading manufacturer believes in it enough to have filed the patents.

First of all, the frame is not very typical of Honda. It is a multi-tube entirely in the Ducati style, subsequently taken over by KTM.

The engine then has an air compressor, while currently only Kawasaki offers this type of device on its H2 and H2R. The Kawasaki turbocharger is a completely classic model, while here Honda shows originality by driving its compressor by electrical force. The big advantage compared to a normal turbo is that there is no response time when accelerating (unlike the turbo driven by the exhaust gases), as for example with vane compressors driven directly by belt.

The drawings illustrating the patent filing for this motorcycle date from 2017, and can only be publicly published now depending on the provisions of American law.
