We informed you of its discreet arrival in France, inside a van like thousands we see on the roads of our country. Since then, the beast, because it must be recognized that in the absence of defeating their Japanese competitors the Ducatis have this undeniably bestial and brutal side, the beast, we said, has passed in front of the photographer who took the portrait of it.

We are therefore happy to share these magnificent photos and information with you.

1/ The motorcycle:
This is one of the two Ducati GP11s with which Valentino Rossi took part in the 2011 world championship. It is therefore an 800cc whose 4° V90 engine is the carrier, the classic aluminum frame being replaced here by a carbon box which connects the propeller to the fork.

At his helm, Valentino Ross scored 139 points in 2011, the same score as Marco Simoncelli, and obtained 7th place in the general classification. It is presented in its “Valencia Test 2010” version, with large opening fairing sides and without fins. Her twin sister currently resides in the USA, also in a private collection.
She will be present at the Sunday Ride Classic.

2 / The Sunday Ride Classic:
She will welcome the Ducati GP11 of Valentino Rossi which will rub shoulders with two of its sisters. Until then, it will have to return to Borgo Panigale so that the racing department can put the right software on it, start it up and provide basic training to its owner.
But MotoGP will be far from being the only attractions 15 and 16 April on the Paul Ricard circuit: between a pack of TZ which we will talk about very soon, a real race reserved for all the latest 250cc 2-stroke Grand Prix cars, a sleeve of theICGP, dozens of motorcycles on test, 20 years of Voxan and tribute to Alain Chevallier, there will be something for everyone for those who come to enjoy the Provençal sun…
News from the Sunday Ride Classic is reported on its Facebook.

3/ The photographer:
Bruno des Gayets, a professional photographer, has been able to seduce us for years with (among other things) his original photos presenting vehicles in semi-transparency or exploded view. Portraits, reports and corporate photos complete his area of expertise.
A quick visit to his site is essential, if only for the explosion of the singer's "blue" Renaud or the portrait of Ken Tyrrell…better than words, photos will speak for themselves!

4/ The “transporter”:
Hubert Rigal, a former Yamaha Grand Prix rider, continues to amaze us by regularly running an incredible collection of Yamaha 500 and 750 4-cylinder 2-stroke world champions. On their handlebars, we simply find, Giacomo Agostini (be careful, probably one of the last rides of the most successful motorcycle rider!), Christian Sarron, Eric de Seynes… And Hubert Rigal itself.
But man also has other strings to his bow, such as constantly finding prestigious competition motorcycles for sale throughout the world, thanks to its unique address book. This is how he was able to find the Ducati GP11 for a French collector and then took charge of repatriating it.
