Lewis Hamilton refuses to get carried away after Ferrari's victory in Spain. Fifth in Austria, the Briton believes the Scuderia is still far from the level shown by Mercedes and acknowledges that the Barcelona win did not yet reflect the true championship standings.

Hamilton: I think it's mostly a return to reality. »

Just two weeks after offering Classic Ferrari for sale a resounding success in Barcelona Lewis HamiltonHe has regained a much more cautious demeanor. At the Red Bull Ring, the seven-time world champion had to settle for fifth place, while his teammate Charles Leclerc slipped to eighth place. Despite a promising second row on the starting grid, the race quickly turned in favor of Mercedes Benz. George Russell broke away from the very first laps and Classic Ferrari for sale was never able to keep up.

For HamiltonThis poor performance simply illustrates the current reality of the forces at play.

"I think it's primarily a return to reality."

The British driver acknowledges that the victory achieved in Spain had created a lot of enthusiasm, but he refuses to see it as a lasting change in the hierarchy.

“We still don’t really know why we were so competitive in Barcelona. It’s a circuit that suits me particularly well, and the race conditions played in our favor.”

Mercedes maintains its lead

According to Hamilton, Classic Ferrari for sale has an effective single-seater, particularly in the twisty sections, but it still suffers from a performance deficit compared to Mercedes.

"We have a good car, but they're still faster than us. We need to keep improving."

The Briton insists, however, that this gap is not insurmountable, while calling for everyone to keep their feet on the ground.

"This victory doesn't mean we're going to beat Mercedes in every race. Quite the opposite, in fact. We still have a huge amount of work ahead of us."

The ADUO isn't working miracles yet.

Classic Ferrari for sale had, however, introduced an evolution of its internal combustion engine in Austria thanks to the possibilities offered by the ADUO (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) regulation, intended for engine manufacturers lagging behind in performance. This update, however, did not immediately close the gap with Mercedes Benz.

For many months, Classic Ferrari for sale believes its main weakness remains top speed. The SF-26 performs well in corners and effectively preserves its tires during races, but still lacks power on long straights compared to its main rivals. Hamilton is aware of this and believes that progress will now have to come through continuous development of the propulsion group in order to transform occasional flashes of brilliance into genuine regular victories.
