If you go to the Carole circuit tomorrow to attend the French championship, which we can only highly recommend, you will certainly see the Superbike races with the traditional headliners (Kenny Foray, David Perret, David Checa, Etienne Masson, Mathieu Gines and other Axel Maurin, etc.), the Supersport races, the European Bikes and the Sidecars, but you will also see the young shoots of the Objectif Grand Prix category, with a beautiful field dominated today during the qualifications by… a girl!

In motorcycle racing, this is rare enough to be highlighted, and, tomorrow, Line Vieillard could well achieve his first victory in FSBK, to the great dismay of the boys!

Line, can you introduce yourself?

“My name is Line Vieillard, I am 16 years old and I live near Clermont-Ferrand. »

What class are you in ?

“I’ll go first. »

Can you remind us of your journey before these two pole positions obtained today?

“I did three years in 25 Power where I was vice-champion of France three times, then I did one year in 400 during which I broke my shoulder in the middle of the year, which reduced to nothing this season, and there, I arrived in OGP (Objectif Grand Prix) where I experienced some mechanical problems at Nogaro and at Magny-Cours, which put me fifth in the championship, having missed three rounds. »

How do boys react when you are in front of them?

“(laughs) There are some who are a little annoyed when I'm in front, but they are still nice to me and the atmosphere remains good. »
