The weather was changeable at Silverstone and the Moto2 riders understood this well while watching the long, twisty qualifying session of the MotoGP. To win the bet, you will have to play with the elements in this category which discovers a track drying at high speed under threatening clouds ready to release its drops to shake up the situation... Who will have been the smartest and the most daring?

Baldassarri begins by getting a scare at turn 12 while his compatriot Pasini jumps into the fray with a 2'14.490 as a reference. Marquez which has agitated on the KTM follow. Baldassarri et bagnaia close the top 5. Locatelli, fourth and Manzi sixth invite themselves to the forefront before Marini et Lowes do not dislodge them. The track continues to dry out and the times drop as the minutes tick by.
The proof: Alex Marquez takes the lead in 2'12.976 at the end of the first quarter of an hour. The brother of whom you know even does a 2'11.009 and he is followed by a Virgin to the convalescent hand, Sam Lowes et Gardner on Tech3.
The last fifteen minutes are attacked with a lecuona on provisional pole on a KTM, ahead Schrotter, Pasini, Marquez et Mir. Courses fall at turn 12. agitated is sixth and Lowes tenth, that is to say as many KTM private riders ahead of the Mattighofen officials who definitely cannot do it. Olive tree is only sixteenth.
In 2'10.048, Schrotter hurts a competition pushed back by more than four tenths in one go. Lowes counterattack and go second but still more than two tenths behind.

Quarterly is thirteenth but in good company since just behind the championship leader bagnaia. In 2'09.827, Sam Lowes thrills the audience by taking control of the session. But his teammate lecuona did better in 2'09.480. Roberts and the NTS amaze by coming fourth.
The last minutes offer an incessant change of a hierarchy which ends up designating bagnaia as its leader. He is ahead of an explosive Gardner on the Mistral 610, Alex Marquez, Schrotter Marini et Quarterly. lecuona et Lowes are eighth and ninth but first KTM. Olive tree is a disappointing 23rd.
