The calendar expands by two rounds, while cumulative attendance at our host events is expected to increase by nearly 60%, from over 800,000 people in 2026 to approximately 1,3 million in 2027.
We also continue to develop our racing motorcycles with our teams and technical partners, in order to improve performance and competitiveness.
This commitment is at the heart of Harley-Davidson Factory Racing and Screamin' Eagle Parts & Accessories, connecting what we learn on the track to the motorcycles and performance products we offer our customers.
But growth isn't just about numbers. It's also about the people and the connections we create through motorcycles and competition.
Our dealers and HOG® chapters are essential in this process, particularly in the United States.
Austin will be our starting point to bring together owners, dealers, HOG® members and MotoGP fans, both on and off the track, to create experiences that we can develop as the championship grows.

More performance, same competition principles
The 2027 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup racing motorcycle introduces a series of technical improvements developed throughout the inaugural season, along with other innovations currently in development.
The 2027 developments reflect two complementary approaches: the continuous pursuit of greater performance through Harley-Davidson Factory Racing and improvements developed in collaboration with participating teams or in response to their feedback.
With several competition structures working intensively on the same platform, their combined experience provides valuable technical information and new opportunities for improvement.
The 2027 motorcycle benefits from developments in several key areas:
- Engine performance: about 2 to 3% more power, with a maximum operating range of 7 to 000 rpm.
- Transmission: new gearbox improvements, including a new Dynojet quickshifter sensor co-developed with Harley-Davidson.
- Suspension and handling: New fork caps allowing increased front height, improved rear shock absorbers with independent damping settings and a revised swingarm to improve rear wheel grip.
- Electronics: active monitoring of tire pressure to provide more information to teams and drivers.
- Reliability: improvements designed to increase the overall reliability of the motorcycle throughout the season.
Other developments are underway and will be revealed at a later date, including:
- Aerodynamics and bodywork: with the aim of reducing drag and improving behavior.
- Pilot ergonomics: More extensive adjustments to handlebar controls, foot position and saddle configuration to better suit individual rider preferences.
All technical developments will be made available to each competitor, in order to maintain a equal treatment.
The knowledge gained in competition can also contribute to the development of future Harley-Davidson production motorcycles and performance products. Screamin' Eagle.
Jason KehlTechnical Director and Team Principal, Harley-Davidson Factory Racing: "From the beginning, we approached the Bagger World Cup as a competition program that never stands still.
We are constantly striving for greater performance, whether it's increasing power, improving rear wheel grip, refining the suspension, or optimizing rider ergonomics. This is part of our engineering philosophy, and the fact that it's a spec series doesn't change that.
One of the advantages of having multiple teams using the same motorcycle in competition is the technical knowledge we gain from their different approaches and experiences. Their feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and some of the 2027 developments, including the increased maximum rev limit and new fork caps, are a direct result of this collaboration. We combine their feedback with our own engineering work to ensure that every improvement benefits all competitors.
Beyond the championship, competition allows us to develop and validate technical solutions under demanding conditions. The data and experience we gain can contribute to future production Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Screamin' Eagle performance products. This is a significant part of the value of this racing program.
