MTT 420 RR, the motorcycle equipped with a helicopter turbine as an engine. Here is a motorcycle that takes your breath away, with its Rolls Royce Allison engine from the 250 C-20 series, the MTT 420 RR takes over from the Y2K Motorcycle which had already made a name for itself. This first turbine motorcycle produced in (small) series was featured in several action films. And today, one of these models is for sale!

If you have just won the lottery, you can treat yourself to the last copy (of 5 products) of this incredible machine developed by the engineers at MTT (Marine Turbine Technologie), called “Sinister Black Series”.

Powered by a 420 hp Allison Rolls Royce jet engine with a sound close to that of a fighter jet, a red zone that starts at 52 rpm, and which produces no less than 000 Nm of torque, the latter model in the range is the only one built with an integrated suspension adjustment system. It obviously includes an electronically controlled 813-speed automatic transmission, a Smart Start digital control system with full data recording and customizable display.

On the chassis side, the adjustable shock absorbers come from Ohlins, the brakes and levers from ISR, the carbon fiber wheels are manufactured by BTS. Finally the fairings are in carbon fiber, the massive frame and the swingarm in aluminum. Note that this aluminum frame also contains the 6 liter reserve tank. We can imagine that the weight of the machine is logically quite significant but not so much since the MTT 420RR weighs 226kg!

If the maximum speed reached by this real rocket exceeds 400 km/h, the manufacturer preferred to play on a note of humor by attaching to the technical sheet the words “faster than you will ever dare to go…”

If you are crazy enough to imagine such a machine in your garage, you just need to hear the sound of the turbine and the size of the “exhaust” to understand that the MTT 420RR should not be approved by us: not sure let it be Euro5! As one might suspect, this helicopter turbine does not run on unleaded fuel: diesel and kerosene will therefore have to be put in the 34 liter tank.

This machine, manufactured in 2018, and sold directly by the manufacturer, has a mileage of just under 350 km. The Sinister Black Series has, as one might guess from the mind-blowing figures, a price that is just as breathtaking as the bike is powerful: the request is $245, or approximately €000. Leaving the garage accompanied by the sound of its turbine at 52 rpm must be something truly priceless...
