The very first Intercontinental Games FIM (ICG) take place this weekend in Jerez de la Frontera, and after the qualifying day, the uncertainty remains as to which of the six Continental Unions (CONU) of the FIM will obtain first place.

You know the general principle: to have six continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Oceania) compete fraternally through 48 pilots, men and women, divided into groups of 4 for each of the two categories, Supersport et Supersport 300, riding a Yamaha R7 and R3.

Free practice took place on Saturday (30 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the afternoon), then qualifying (2x20 minutes).

En Supersport, the South African Dino Iozzo took pole position in 1'52.048, ahead of the Brazilian Humberto Cezar Maier Net (South America) and Clint Seller (Africa).

Africa, composed only of South African drivers, has therefore taken the advantage, but Europe is not far behind, lining up the Italian Elia Bartolini and the only Frenchman Enzo de la Vega in 4th and 5th position.
The races for this cylinder capacity will take place today at 12:00 and 15:15.

En supersport 300, the Spanish Manu Gonzalez will start in the lead, accompanied in the front line by the two Australians Archie McDonald et Cameron Swain.
The first race takes place at 11:00 a.m., with a second round at 14:15 p.m.

Uncertainty is therefore on the horizon, especially since little communication was broadcast after the first day, but this first edition will already allow us to familiarize ourselves with the formula...
