We tried the new version of Milestone, now available for PlayStation4, Xbox One and Windows PC / STEAM. Lots of new features and surprises.

MotoGP is back and doing it in style, as the guys at Milestone have been working hard over the past few months to bring a successful and quality product to all fans.

LOTS OF NEW FEATURES
The new Milestone version offers several new features. From the main menu you can access the Career, Quick Modes, Historical Challenges, Multiplayer, Moto GP and Sports Championship, Graphics Editor, Driver Customization, Downloadable Content and Options panes. A true mechanical adventure, with many opportunities to race and compete with current bikes and riders, but also with those (not all) who have marked the history of the World Championship. From Rainey to Rossi, from Doohan to Stoner via Capirossi and Ukawa.

HISTORICAL CHALLENGES
The “Historical Challenges” mode offers enormous scope for action, including for memory, with events drawn from the history of the last 25 years. The mainstay of the production remains Career mode, in which the player is called upon to live the sporting existence of a driver, regardless of the category chosen. From the Rookies Cup onwards, we must try to reach the top, from team to team, to establish ourselves in the long term, even in the higher categories. Interesting is the online gaming component, represented by the multiplayer mode via Xbox Live (we tried it with XBOX ONE) which allows us to select one of the existing rooms or create our own, public or private. We will then set various parameters regarding collisions, race duration, category and so on. At the moment, but still disabled, there is also the part dedicated to exports which, thanks to a collaboration with Dorna, will make each of us the MotoGP eSports World Champion.

EXCELLENT TECHNICAL LEVEL
Finally, the AI has been renewed and refreshed. After several years, this was the real flaw of the video game. Opponent drivers are now more “real” with more convincing maneuvers than those of the “boring” train of the past. The improvement over what has been observed in the past is clear and evident. The Unreal engine remains MotoGP19's most graphic weapon. With a pleasant definition, but which will certainly be further improved with time. As for pre-race loading, a great job has been done with the various sessions loading almost immediately.

A BIG YES
MotoGP is definitely a title that will appeal to all fans. And which, over the years, has been able to improve bringing, albeit virtually, the two wheels to everyone.
RATING: 9
