While most MotoGP riders enjoy well-deserved vacations in the most beautiful places in the world, likeAlex Espargaro or Maverick Vinales, Valentino Rossi is still in his MotoRanch in Italy and Marc Marquez in Spain.

This weekend, the latter both had dinner with his fans and participated brilliantly in the Enduro de Sègre before going, Monday morning, to the editorial office of Cuatro Deportes, an offshoot of the Mediaset group.

He was then asked to establish a scale of the chances of his main favorites to win the 2017 title.

At this classification, Jorge Lorenzo and his Ducati got a 7, Valentino Rossi and his Yamaha an 8, and Maverick Vinales and his Yamaha a 9.
Or the same grade he gives himself! No doubt impressed by the results of the test carried out after the Valencia Grand Prix, Marc Marquez therefore anticipates a duel between him and Vinales for the 2017 world title, with Valentino Rossi as an outsider. A title that he hopes to defend with a Honda that is better designed and less aided by electronics.

Thus, this could reverse the proportion of the two drivers who, according to him, compete in him, and the "Champion", the one who thinks above all about managing the championship, could leave more room for the "Old School Kid". who has been very discreet this season.

Marc Márquez: « This year, the “Kid” rode the bike about 35 or 40% of the time, while the “Champion” did so  60% or more. Hopefully in 2017 there might be more “Kid” and risk taking because that would mean the bike is better. »
