The memory of Marco Simoncelli remains as vibrant as ever. And both its colors and its number will be from this season in Grand Prix with a Moto3 team which will be watched closely. The pilot close to Valentino Rossi left us in 2011 during a dramatic Malaysian Grand Prix. The Republic of San Marino has decided to pay him a special tribute.
The Republic of San Marino will in fact issue stamps specially dedicated to the memory of Marco Simoncelli. They will be sold out from March 7. Marco's portrait will be associated with the image of a wheelie performed on the Brno route.
We owe this set to Stefano Borasca. Marco Simoncelli, 250cc World Champion, will have turned 30 on January 20.
