It's a time to put a Virgin and a Mistral 610 outside as the Moto2s begin their warm-up session. A wet Sunday start for a Grand Prix in Argentina which promises to be indecisive. A little over 20°, both in the air and on the track, will be the temperature for this start, spared by a rain which seems to want to take a break after having worked all night.

By the way, since Jack Miller, Xavi Virgo (Dynavolt Intact GP) and Tony Arbolino (Marinelli Snipers) each obtained their first pole in the category, this Argentine Grand Prix equals in singularity the Qatar meeting in 2017 where Maverick Vinales, Franco Morbidelli et Jorge Martín also opened their peak position counter.

In 1'57.539, Sam Lowes makes the first reference in front Marini who gets scared and Nagashima, Corn Quarterly, wide awake, answers him before Marini does a 1'57.153. Barbera remembers everyone fondly by taking second place. Gardner, for its part, shows that the Mistral 610 likes these conditions by landing in fourth place.
Roberts and its NTS surprise by taking second place behind a Marini which pushes its advantage to 1'56.597. He lasted until five minutes from the goal, when Barbera takes the lead in 1'55.652, a time which betrays a rapid improvement of the track.
Marini take the opportunity to take control of the session. Barbera will not answer him, having joined his stand while the last minute has started. Baldassarri is third in front Virgin, the pole man, and a Roberts clashing with its NTS chassis. The championship leader bagnaia follows, as well asAlex Marquez. Schrotter, Lowes, best of KTM, et Olive tree close the top 10. Quarterly is fifteenth, just behind his teammate Kent. Danilo is penultimate. The best beginner is fenati, twelfth.
