Sam Lowes (Elf Marc VDS Racing Team/poleman)

" I have really gave the best of myself, because I always suffer on this track, especially in the first two sectors which I struggle to really understand. During my first outing I attacked a lot on the soft tire at the front, but I couldn't really brake and turn well. In the end I put on the hard tire and managed to find more grip and take pole position with these tires. My pace was good today, I think we improved on this point compared to last week. Today we were in the mix, in qualifying as well, and it's really good because it's one of the worst tracks here for me. »

Raúl Fernández (Red Bull KTM Ajo/second)

" It is incredible, because this weekend we worked very well. Last week I had a difficult race, and now I'm happy to be back at the front, especially since I know that we are really very strong with all the experience we have accumulated. For tomorrow I think we're going to be in the mix with the soft and hard tires, and that's the most important thing. »

Ai Ogura (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia/third)

" I am happy, even if the result could have been better. I was first at one point, and ultimately finished in third place. We have to work a lot for tomorrow, but I'm very happy to get a new front row at the Red Bull Ring after last week. I think we are ready for tomorrow. »
