Team RW Racing will have for next season, but also for 2019 and 2020, in the Moto2 World Championship chassis manufactured by NTS Co. Ltd, a Japanese company based in Fukushima, which also supplies the aerospace industry, motorsport, marine and medicine.

Its two permanent drivers for next year will be the South African Steven Odendaal, titled in the European Moto2 Championship last season, and the Californian Joe Roberts, one and only representative of the United States in Grands Prix, all categories combined.

We have seen the NTS Moto2 chassis since 2016 in the CEV Repsol Championship. The Frenchman Alan Techer placed third overall with a motorcycle equipped with this chassis, with a victory in Portimao. In 2017, it is Hiroki Ono and Steven Odendaal who wear the colors of NTS in this category. The South African is currently third in the provisional ranking, with a second place obtained in Estoril.

In collaboration with Swiss engineering specialist Geo Technology, NTS will become the sixth chassis manufacturer entered in the Moto2 World Championship with Kalex, Suter, Speed ​​Up, KTM and Tech3.
