Pecco Bagnaia is in pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix, the tenth round of MotoGP 2023 which takes place at the Red Bull Ring. The reigning world champion propelled his Ducati to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1'28.539, a time which allowed him to sign his fifth pole of the season, his 16th in the category, his 23rd of his career. For Ducati, this is the eighth pole of 2023, the sixth in a row, the 79th in the premier category.

Maverick Vinales will set off alongside him on the Aprilia RS-GP, beaten by only 37 thousandths with the KTM of Brad Binder which closes the first line. Very good qualification for Jack Miller who, riding the second KTM RC16 Factory after passing the “trap” of Q1, finished fourth, ahead of the Ducati ofAlex Marquez (Team Gresini) and Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team), the latter having also made it through Q1.

More difficult qualifications for Marco Bezzecchi, who after setting the lap record on Friday, only finished seventh. The Mooney VR46 Racing Team driver will share the third row with the Aprilia of the RNF team of Miguel Oliveira and the Yamaha of fabio quartararo.

Who will be able to upset Pecco Bagnaia in Austria?

Fourth row for the Pramac Ducati John Zarco et George Martin who are separated by the winner of Silverstone Aleix Espargaró. Marc Marquez did not pass Q1 and will start from 18th position.

The Austrian Grand Prix Sprint race MotoGP which took place on the Red Bull Ring track was won by Pecco Bagnaia. The pilot Ducati who started from pole position dominated by crossing the finish line with a large margin over the KTM of Brad Binder. George Martin finished third after an eventful race which saw him experience a Long Lap during this Sunday's race.
