In exactly one week, Marc Márquez will be very close to taking the start of a Grand Prix of the Czech Republic which will open the second part of the championship. A season which already seems to be acquired by the Honda official who produced an almost perfect copy at the end of the first half: five victories and eight podiums in nine races contested. Here he is with 58 points ahead of the furthest from his pursuers, Andrea Dovizioso.

The seven-time world champion was also asked about the rumors which present Valentino Rossi as a retiree from the end of this year: “ I don't believe it and I won't believe it until he says it. I think Rossi will continue. I think any driver who can go 350 km/h does it because he has the ambition and the focus to keep racing. ».

It is also essential to talk about Jorge Lorenzo, his teammate in the Repsol Honda team, struggling with physical problems and a lack of results: “ Things don't go as planned, of course. Coming to Honda means extra pressure for any rider, because it's a winning bike. But inside the team we want him to recover quickly and score points for the constructors' championship ».

He ends on his brother Alex Marquez, leader of the Moto2 championship, who was also present at the Montmeló event: “ I would be happy to share the MotoGP category with him, but I am in no hurry.
