Unlike most of their opponents, the riders of the French Red Bull KTM Tech3 team are already in their fifth day of testing on the track and in the furnace of Sepang.

This has advantages, but also disadvantages, starting with the severe strain on the organisms.

Miguel Oliveira, who is still suffering from the consequences of a fall caused by Johann Zarco at Silverstone despite a shoulder operation undergone last November, had nevertheless eaten bull this morning when, during the first hour of testing, the Portuguese driver provisionally positioned his KTM RC16 in seventh position.

Alas, the body seems to have its reasons that passion does not know, and the number 88 should then space out its outings to complete a total of 42 laps, progressing by 0,766 seconds compared to the first day, before concluding this second day less than 8/10 of the Quartararo phenomenon.

Miguel Oliveira : “We started well this morning and we even improved the setup of the bike a little, which was the goal for today. We didn't try anything special, but we worked on tuning the suspension and the rear shock. Finally, we pushed a lot in the morning, so I felt a little uncomfortable with my shoulder, so we made longer stops between rides. Apart from that, we managed to have a very good run on worn tires. Our race pace is very interesting, so I would say I'm happy that we were able to take this step in the right direction. »
