MotoGP, Seen on Instagram – Márquez mocks Tardozzi, Miller bows out in front of his home crowd, Zarco greets the stewards

We saw the images you might have missed: Zarco greeting the stewards, Miller saying goodbye to the public and Márquez laughing.

MotoGP

Marc Márquez amused by a photo of Davide Tardozzi, Jack Miller waving to the crowd for his last race at Phillip Island and Johann Zarco thanking the stewards: these were the images that should not have been missed this Sunday during the cancellation of the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix.

Today, MotoGP riders and teams , as well as those in other championships, communicate as much, if not more, on Instagram than through traditional press releases. Having become the essential social network for the paddock, it allows users to stay up-to-date on all the news, follow their daily lives, and discover behind-the-scenes glimpses of Grand Prix events, training sessions, and travel.

In our "Seen on Instagram" section, we bring you the must-see posts of the day. It complements our weekly Instagram Top 10 , offering a recap of the day's most impactful posts or a more detailed look at specific ones, depending on current events. It's another way to stay up-to-date with all the latest MotoGP news, and much more!

The Australian Grand Prix was cancelled this Sunday, a major blow for the entire paddock, the public, and the marshals. In addition to their victory laps, the riders took the time to greet the marshals, who, like the spectators, waited in the rain and contributed to the smooth running of the weekend. Everyone had the opportunity to take a photo and exchange a few words with them, including Johann Zarco.

📸 The other image to remember

Jack Miller experienced his very last MotoGP Grand Prix at his home track. While the circuit will disappear from the calendar next year, he will be moving to Superbike. Although he will race there again in February, he was keen to close this important chapter of his career after 15 years in Moto3 and MotoGP. Unfortunately, he was unable to compete in this final race.

He therefore completed his victory laps like a true hero and took the time to spend a moment with the public, despite the rain, to take his leave in the best possible way despite a feeling of incompleteness.

👀 The bonus

The time seemed to drag for the MotoGP riders, who waited for several hours in their pit boxes to find out whether they would be competing in the Grand Prix or not. Between card games for some, building paper boats for others, and snack breaks, humor was also on hand to try and lighten the mood somewhat.

In the Ducati garage, Marc Márquez playfully teased Davide Tardozzi after being shown a photo of his boss wearing a communication headset and captioned with the phrase, "I'll be piloting the helicopter myself ." The photo was posted by Ducati's community manager, and number 93 then shared it in his Instagram story.
