It is on the Autodromo Piero Taruffi in Vallelunga, near Rome, that the final round of the CIV (Campionato Italiano Velocità) will take place next week. Now 42 years old, Haga will participate alongside his teammate of the day Pedro Javier Castano Illan, with the AG Motorsport Italy team which obtained the title in Sport 4T CIV (now Supersport 300) last year.

This team is well known to the Haga family because it entered Akito and Ryota Haga, the children of Noriyuki, in 300 Supersport, with 4th place in Race 1 last week at Mugello.

Noriyuki will ride a Yamaha in Supersport at Vallelunga. It is in this category that he currently participates in the Asian Championship, where he occupies eleventh position with two sixth places as his best results.

Last year, Noriyuki Haga finished 3rd in the Suzuka 8 Hours with Yoshimura Suzuki. It was his fourth consecutive participation after 2013, 2014 and 2015 with a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 from the Kagayama team of his friend Yukio Kagayama.

Nori Haga has participated in 32 Grands Prix, including 16 in 500 on Yamaha and 16 in MotoGP on Aprilia. He then moved to the Superbike World Championship where he achieved 43 victories and 116 podiums, finishing second in the championship on Yamaha in 2007 and on Ducati in 2009.
