The Spanish Suzuki team rider crashed during motocross training with his RM-Z. The accident did not seem serious at the time, but the persistent pain prompted him to go for examination at the University Hospital Dexeus in Barcelona where a small fracture in the talus of his right ankle was detected.
Fortunately there was no displacement and a treatment without operation was decided, based on magnetotherapy and physiotherapy.
An examination will take place next Monday in the same hospital before leaving for the Argentine Grand Prix, where for the moment Alex's participation is not in question.
