After a warm-up dominated by Lucas Mahias (GMT94 Yamaha), the first race of the Supersport set off for 19 laps on the Donington Park circuit, in the homeland of Tom Booth-Amos…

Poleman, Can Oncu (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) took the holeshot ahead of the pack led by Albert Arenas (AS BLU CRU Racing Team) Aldi Mahendra (AS BLU CRU Racing Team) James Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura), Roberto Garcia (GMT94 Yamaha) and Valentine Debise (EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory), while Jeremy Alcove (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) completely missed its start.

Tom Booth Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing), who set the 3rd fastest time but were relegated to 9th place on the grid for sectors that were too slow during Superpole, initially dropped to 11th place before beginning his comeback.

While his teammate Federico Caricasulo (EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory) continued its ordeal with another crash, Valentine Debise appeared 5th at the end of the first round, but already a little behind the leaders.

Tom Booth Amos joined his teammate Bayliss oils in the second round, then passed it without a hitch before tackling Jeremy Alcoba for 7th position.
Two rounds later, Valentine Debise also bowed to the Briton's Triumph, which now had Roberto Garcia in sight…

The catch, and the overtaking, took place 12 laps from the finish, while Can Oncu was the fastest on the track and managed to build up a very small lead.
James Masia Having suffered the same fate on the same lap, the fiery local driver had only three targets between him and victory in front of his home crowd: Can Oncu, Aldi Mahendra et Albert Arenas !

It took the supercharged Briton less than a lap to overtake the championship leader, then another full lap to prevent Aldi Mahendra to equal his best result achieved in Australia, or even better since he was battling with Can Oncu for the command.

Without further ado, Tom Booth Amos put the two drivers behind him with about ten laps to go before flying off inexorably towards victory.

Also worth noting is the impressive comeback of Jeremy Alcoba at the end of the race, but today, the Newport native was simply on another planet: unbeatable!

In the championship, Albert Arenas leads by 68 points Valentine Debise, 92 out of Jaume Masia, 101 on Can Oncu and 131 on Tom Booth Amos.
