With an almost promised title in the premier category, a battle which intensifies in 600 and a suspense which remains intact in the other categories, the holy grail of French motorcycle speed riders has been a hit in Ile-de-France.

SUPERBIKES

RACE 1: FORAY ALMOST TITLED!

Stress or motivation? One or the other grows Kenny FORAY (BMW Tecmas) to make a very good start in order to propel themselves to the front of the race ahead of Axel MAURIN (Yamaha), David PERRET (Yamaha) and Mathieu GINES (Kawasaki SRC). After a few laps, MAURIN went on the attack and relegated FORAY to second place, the two men widened the gap on PERRET and GINES, in a duel to stay on the podium.

From lap to lap, the favorite for the title gauges Axel MAURIN, and stays in his wheel. Attentive to the slightest flaw, the driver of the #78 BMW finally managed to get the better of MAURIN. In 3rd position, PERRET gets rid of GINES and seems to have greater ambitions...in fact, the Angevin driver increases the pace and dislodges MAURIN from 2nd place 6 laps from the checkered flag. Before the final cut, PERRET and MAURIN exchange places from turn to turn offering a high-flying show to the public!

At the end of 25 laps, FORAY crossed the finish line with only 0'128 ahead of PERRET! MAURIN was not unworthy and took the 3rd step of the podium.

In Superbike Challenger, Morgan BERCHET (Kawasaki SRC) starts with a lead and settles in the wake of Etienne MASSON (Suzuki LMS) in 6th place in the scratch at the start of the race. The Kawasaki SRC rider finally finished first in his category and 7th overall behind David CHECA (Yamaha) and Etienne MASSON. Behind the leader, it is Gabriel PONS (Kawasaki) who wins against Maxime BONNOT (BMW tecmas). Robin CAMUS (Suzuki LMS) finished just off the podium after holding off his Team LMS teammate, Baptiste GUITTET.

RACE 2: MAURIN WINNER, FORAY TITLED

The best start is to the credit of Axel MAURIN who outperforms Kenny FORAY and Morgan BERCHET. The order established between the latter two is shaken up in the second round. FORAY seems to remain cautious since he then gives in to the insistent attacks of David PERRET to find himself in the clutches of Etienne MASSON.

Before passing the 10 lap mark, PERRET gains the upper hand over BERCHET and tries to take the lead. Morgan BERCHET no longer keeps up with the pace, FORAY takes the opportunity to recover 3rd place, he is pursued by Etienne MASSON who gets the better of BERCHET.

These are two duels that spectators can watch for the 1st and 3rd step of the podium, MAURIN – PERRET and FORAY – MASSON. Finally, MAURIN maintains the pace and crosses the finish line in front of PERRET. FORAY contains MASSON, takes 3rd place and is crowned Champion of France 2017 at the same time!

On the Superbike Challenger side, after playing on equal terms with the Superbike riders Morgan BERCHET leaves the Top 3 to conclude the race in 6th place and on the highest step of the podium in his category. A regular at the Circuit Carole, Robin Camus, the resident of Team Suzuki LMS finished in second place ahead of Maxime BONNOT.

Please note, Baptiste GUITTET, despite his fall, finished the race in 10th position, just off the Superbike Challenger podium.

Provisionally, Kenny FORAY wins his title with 249 points, subject to a compliant machine! David PERRET (175 points) and David CHECA (137 points) are competing for 2nd place on the podium.

In Superbike Challenger, Morgan BERCHET is in the lead with 241 points ahead of Gabriel PONS (180 points) and Baptiste GUITTET (148 points).

SUPERSPORT – PIRELLI 600 TROPHY

RACE 1: TANGRE ALWAYS FASTER

After a first lap where Guillaume RAYMOND (Yamaha), Hugo CASADESUS (Honda) and Loïc ARBEL (Yamaha) hung on at the exit of the Parabolic, only RAYMOND, pilot on a Pirelli 600, managed to restart. At the head of the race, Maximilien BAU (Yamaha) cannot resist the pressure of Cédric TANGRE(Suzuki). It is indeed the 2015 French Champion who is in the lead on the timing line. In pursuit, Louis BULLE (Yamaha) understood that he had to take advantage of the fight between the leading men and made an effective attack on Maximilien BAU to get the slipstream of the rider of the Suzuki n°2. Very quickly, TANGRE and BULLE fled to fight for the lead as a duo, leaving BAU to ride alone in 3rd position.

In the second part of the race, TANGRE widened the gap on BULLE and finished as king, more than 3 seconds behind his runner-up. 3rd place is to the credit of BAU who manages his driving until the end of the race. Behind the leading trio, Stéphane FROSSARD (Yamaha) emerged victorious from the battle between him and Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha) and finished just off the podium.

In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Maxim PELIZOTTI (Yamaha) is ahead of Gaëtan MATERN (Kawasaki) and Charles CORTOT (Yamaha) in the first laps. At mid-race, PELIZOTTI still dominated his two pursuers who were unable to decide between themselves. Despite this lead, MATERN and CORTOT regained the upper hand on PELIZOTTI and finished 1st and 2nd respectively. Nice surprise, after his fall, RAYMOND limits the damage and gets back on PELIZOTTI to complete the podium.

RACE 2: IT’S SLIDING BEHIND TANGRE!

Following his morning victory, Cédric TANGRE sets off confidently from pole position in front of a Louis BULLE determined to achieve the victory that he did not obtain in the morning! It will only take a few laps for the driver of the No. 30 Yamaha to take the lead after having set the best lap in the race. In the wheel of the two competitors, Guillaume RAYMOND, pilot in the Pirelli 600 Trophy and revenger since his exit from the track in race 1, holds 3rd place!

A major racing event occurs 16 laps from the checkered flag, “Loulou” falls at the entrance to the Parabolic! BULLE gets up and leaves after having lost all hope of a podium. A trio composed of Clement STOLL (Triumph), Guillaume ANTIGA (Yamaha) and Maximilien BAU (Yamaha) then get closer to RAYMOND who loses 2 seconds on TANGRE.

In the second part of the race, STOLL and BAU raised their voices and took turns getting the better of RAYMOND. After relegating STOLL to 3rd place, BAU made a mistake and fell, leaving the driver of the No. 58 Triumph alone behind TANGRE. Using rigorous driving, the driver of Suzuki no. 2 did not waver and won in front of STOLL and RAYMOND. Stéphane FROSSARD (Yamaha), chasing them, ranks 4th and climbs to the 3rd step of the Supersport podium.

In the Pirelli 600 trophy, no driver is able to dethrone RAYMOND who climbs to the highest step of the podium in his category after finishing 3rd in the race. Gaëtan MATERN and Charles CORTOT finished the race in 2nd and 3rd position in their category and finished in the same order.

Provisionally, Cédric TANGRE consolidates its lead with 222 points. Louis BULLE remains second for the moment with 197 points ahead of Stéphane FROSSARD (166 points).

In the Pirelli 600 Trophy, Guillaume RAYMOND consolidates his lead with 254 points ahead of Clément GRANZOTTO (127 points) and Charles CORTOT (121 points).

GRAND PRIX OBJECTIVE – PRE MOTO3

RACE 1: CAPON WINS AGAINST VIELLARD

Line VIELLARD (NSF Yamaha) starts from pole position and sets her pace on Hugo CHAPON (MIR), Joris INGIULLA (Beon Factory) and Joey LUBRAT (TVX). Behind the young woman, CHAPON and INGIULLA exchange second place under the watchful eye of LUBRAT. In pursuit of the latter, Charles AUBRIE (Over Yamaha), in ambush, accelerates the tempo halfway through the race and… makes a mistake! Too bad for him who seemed to return to LUBRAT now more serene.

5 laps from the checkered flag, CHAPON relegates VIELLARD to second place, a real declaration of war for the fastest representative of the fairer sex! At the end of the race, VIELLARD gave up, it was CHAPON who won, only 1 behind his rival. INGIULLA completes the podium.

RACE 2: CHAPON DOES THE DOUBLE

Second start from pole position for Line VIELLARD and this time it is Joris INGIULLA who chases the “polewomen” assisted by Guillaume JUCHA (Moriwaki) and Hugo CHAPON, both in discussion for 3rd place in the first laps. Very quickly, CHAPON found the fault and got the better of JUCHA, visibly destabilized, the latter then went down in the ranking in favor of Joey LUBRAT.

Before mid-race VIELLARD was surprised by INGIULLA but remained neck and neck while CHAPON approached the leaders after widening the gap on LUBRAT. Constantly exchanging places, the leading trio composed of INGIULLA, VIELLARD and CHAPON puts on a show for first place!

In a twist, INGIULLA made a mistake and fell back down the rankings a few laps from the checkered flag. Added to this is the fall of Joey LUBRAT in the last lap leading to a red flag, synonymous with stopping the race by the Race Direction. The classification therefore freezes in the lap preceding the fall, Hugo CHAPON, in the lead in the lap preceding the red flag, therefore climbs to the highest step of the podium in front of Line VIELLARD. It was finally Charles AUBRIE (Over Yamaha) who ranked 3rd, taking advantage of LUBRAT's fall and INGIULLA's error. The latter also saves the furniture and finishes at the foot of the podium.

After application of a penalty for early departure which applies to CHAPON, it is VIELLARD who wins ahead of the driver of MIR n°27.

In the provisional standings, Joris INGIULLA is in the lead with 216 points ahead of Hugo CHAPON (209 points) and Charles AUBRIE (168 points).

SIDECAR

RACE 2: VICTORY FOR WYSSEN / LAVOREL

Despite starting from pole position, DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU fell two places behind WYSSEN / LAVOREL and MOREAU / CLEMENT on the first lap. The 2016 French Champion does not seem able to win during this 2nd race, which does not go unnoticed by WYSSEN / LAVOREL and MOREAU / CLEMENT.

The latter two successively chain attacks at the pace of the laps until WYSSEN / LAVOREL distance themselves and definitively confirm first place on the finish line. MOREAU / CLEMENT is forced to reduce the pace following technical problems but still maintains second place ahead of DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU.

In 600, STREUR / DE HAAS won hands down ahead of GUIGNARD / POUX and BARBIER / CROCHEMORE.

In the provisional ranking, DELANNOY / ROUSSEAU remains in the lead with 245 points ahead of MOREAU / GADET (193 points) and WYSSEN / LAVOREL (179 points).

In 600, GUIGNARD / POUX retains the lead with 205 points ahead of BARBIER / CROCHEMORE (143 points) and LEBLOND / FARNIER (107 points).
