They came, in a discipline that is not theirs, and delighted the public and the professionals of this 80th Bol d'Or.

Alexis Masbou, who crewed with Hugo Clere (recent French FSBK Supersport champion) and Johan Nigon, spared no effort and, although he was tested at the end of these 24 hours, courageously took the Yamaha Moto Ain to a very good 6th place overall under the checkered flag (1st in StockSport).

Randy de Puniet, for his part, took the measure of the event and impressed the entire paddock by lining up extremely fast and regular laps without making the slightest error. A broken rear axle prevented the Kawasaki SRC from really fighting for victory, although the current Ktm MotoGP test rider brought the bike back by pushing it to the box. In the end, another second place in Endurance for Randy de Puniet who behaved like a true professional.

Good job guys !

We do not forget Louis Rossi who posted this message on his Facebook page: " Hello everyone,
I've come to bring you some news.
I returned to the circuit and despite the pain and the burns, I tried to leave again but the rules were clear: no right to return to the track after losing consciousness...
We were the victim of a problem with tire heating and choice of rubber on the starting grid.
The rear tire was too cold and, when accelerating, the worst happened…
I would like to tell you that the team did an exceptional job and that they did not make any mistakes in any way. We suffered a technical problem. »

And obviously, a big congratulations to Dominique Meilland's entire SERT team for this relentless 16th victory at the Bol d'Or!
