Moto2 Aragon Qualifications: Augusto Fernandez honors his MotoGP promotion

The Moto2 qualifying sessions have begun on the Aragon circuit, which hosts the fifteenth round of the championship.

Alonso Lopez was the fastest during the third and final free practice session of the Aragon Moto2 Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday at Motorland. The young Speed ​​Up driver, who had won his first career success in Misano, stopped the clock in a time of 1'52.180s, placing only 87 thousandths as a gap with Augusto Fernandez, in turn only 2 thousandths ahead Aron Canet (Pons), with rookie Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Ajo) just 7 thousandths behind the Team Pons driver.

Four drivers follow in less than a tenth, with Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) fifth in front Jake Dixon (Aspar) and Fermin Aldeguer (Speed ​​Up). Close the Top Ten Joe Roberts (Italtrans), Jorge Navarro (Pons) and Albert Arenas (Aspar). Also qualified directly in Q2: Bo Bendsneyder (SAG), Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia), Manuel Gonzalez (VR46 Master Camp) and Filip Salac (Gresini).

But we will find the two other candidates for the title who are Ai Ogura (Team Asia) and Celestino Vietti (Mooney VR46 Racing Team) in Q1.
