Moto2 Jerez 2 Warm-Up: Sam Lowes goes on the offensive

Sam Lowes doesn't fall anymore, and this is what happens...

For the latest updates, it's now or never for the Moto2 protagonists who will set off for their third round of the season. Because they, we remind you, started playing in March, in Qatar. Since then Nagashima has led the championship. However, the Japanese has been diminished since FP3 on Saturday, after being hit violently on the head after a seemingly innocuous fall. Will his competitors take advantage of this slump, or will the Japanese show them, from this Sunday morning, that he has already recovered?

It is Bezzecchi who emerged victorious on Saturday with his first pole position, ahead of Sam Lowes which no longer falls and bastianini came out on top in Q1. NAVARRO, Marini, the latest winner on the same track in Jerez and Martin are also to be noted among the favorites. We will finally have an eye on Canet, seventh on the grid, which makes us forget that he is only starting out in the category…

It is bastianini who took the best provisional time of the session in 1.42.583s ahead of Lowes et Martin. Canet et Nagashima are in 4th and 5th place.

But in front the line moves and it's Lowes which is improving and comes to take the lead with a time achieved in 1.41.776s. NAVARRO imitates him and takes 2nd position in 1.41.890s.

Bastianini, Martin and Schrotter follow in their footsteps. Lowes continues his effort and sets a lap time of 1.41.470s.

There are 7 minutes left and it's Lowes who poses as leader of this session in front of Navarro, Luthi, Bastianini, Nagashima, Martin, Canet, Bulega, Garzo et Syarhin. Behind, Marini ranks 14th.

Nagashima, the leader of the world championship, comes between NAVARRO et Luthi in 3rd position.
