Aprilia has taken over even though the summer break is still going on in MotoGP. It must be said that this season could be historic for the Noale firm, in the running for what would be a resounding World Champion title among drivers with its spearhead Aleix Espargaró. The latter, however, was not in the picture which brought together in Cremona a group of drivers from the brand including a certain Maverick Viñales. All these beautiful people braved the heatwave to tweak the RSV4. Even boss Massimo Rivola was there!
Aprilia organized a test day in Cremona for its drivers, in particular to train Maverick Vinales with a production motorcycle with a view to the resumption of MotoGP. Also present were Lorenzo Savadori, Tommaso Marcon, Alessandro Delbianco and Matteo Baiocco who also rode the new Aprilia RSV-V4. The CEO of Aprilia Racing, Massimo rivola, also participated, and not in the shadows of the box. He also took the handlebars and challenged the clock!

Precisely, in terms of lap time, Maverick Vinales held his place, but only a little more than a tenth ahead Alessandro Delbianco who commented on Motoracing : " I had never been to Cremona to ride a 1, I had raced there but on the old track. It was wonderful ! Riding with a MotoGP rider is always fantastic, then with Maverick Viñales, an Aprilia rider, was at the top. I had the chance to do a few runs with him. During the last session, we did around ten laps together and it was wonderful. I had a lot of fun and at the same time I carried out an important test for the next round of the Italian Superbike Championship ».
As we can see in the photo published by GP One of the screen displaying the times, Massimo Rivola also went to challenge the track. Not bad for a boss. When Lynn Jarvis on an M1 and Gigi Dall'Igna on one of his Ducatis? And why not Alberto puig on the Honda?
