Max Biaggi was in Malaysia to do laps in the furnace of the Sepang track. What purpose ? Three years after Latina's serious accident and with age advancing inexorably, believe me, it took me a while to recover certain mechanisms. With 160 laps in three days at Sepang, I tested my body and my mind, to understand if everything was behind us. Being able to overcome this obstacle is an immense satisfaction for me, both as a pilot and as a man! Today I can say that the accident, which almost cost me my life, has been completely overcome. This is the greatest satisfaction I can get from the three days of testing in Malaysia! »
The one who will be a Grand Prix legend from this season adds: “ I wanted to be the first to tell you that I will not be in Malaysia for the MotoGP tests. Certain particular events that have occurred have allowed us all to formulate a series of hypotheses, but with great serenity I must tell you that a possible test has never been planned neither by Aprilia nor by me ".
