Gresini Ducati displays calm confidence in Marc Marquez, whose debut on Ducati sparked heated discussions in the paddock. After a fifth place in the sprint and a fourth place at the Qatar Grand Prix, Marc Marquez did not leave anyone indifferent. Gresini sporting director Michele Masini opened up to Marca about Marquez's first weekend with the team, calling it "overall positive".
Masini sharing : " It was a solid weekend for our team on a track that represents a challenge for us. This is not Marc's favorite circuit, and where Alex always encounters difficulties. " He keeps on : " this means that he is already at a good level. He still has to master the correct riding style on the Ducati, especially when the tires start to wear out. Concerning Alex Marquez, its second driver, who finished seventh in the sprint then sixth in the main race, Masini is also satisfied: “ Alex showed very good pace this weekend. Starting from the third row is not easy because the KTMs start very strongly. Departures represent 70% of the work. With the current tire pressure regulations, it is also difficult to overtake."
