The day started well for Dani Pedrosa who, in just a few laps, immediately showed a very interesting pace.

However, two falls in quick succession, and the second was impressive, are enough to calm the bravest of men, even if he is in Titanium!

Fortunately, the Honda driver was able to visit the mobile clinic where a medical examination was negative and ruled out any major injury, despite a strong impact on his left hand.

Consequently, Dani Pedrosa will resume testing today after 3 hours lost this Thursday, with, obviously, greater caution...

Dani Pedrosa, 11th, 1'55.555, 37 laps: “We started the day well and had several good runs, considering the track is always a bit dirty here on the first day. Unfortunately, I first had a small crash which could have been my fault, and a few laps later I had another, bigger one, in turn 2. I may have hit a bump or that I was a little off course, I don't know; This place is pretty tricky for sure, and I lost the front very quickly. After that we decided to stop for the day. Apart from that, the feeling on the bike was quite good and we were able to keep a good pace. Tomorrow we will continue working on the bike setup and we will see how the track improves and what tires we will use. This circuit is a real challenge, because the conditions change from one day to the next, and the temperature also drops a lot when evening falls. We will have to do more laps to try to better understand the general configuration before going into more detailed experiments. »
