During free practice for the German MotoGP, Fabio di Giannantonio sparked concerns after a rapid crash which saw him immediately grab his right arm. The VR46 pilot seemed to support his limb as he exited the gravel trap, suggesting a premature end to his weekend.
Fortunately, the situation improved quickly. After his motorcycle was left lying on the inflatable protection, causing red flags to appear, Di Giannantonio was seen smiling while heading towards the medical center. The scans revealed no fracture at the collarbone, although a small dislocation may have occurred. Declared fit to continue, he returned to the track and courageously snatched a place in Q2 with a ninth time.

Despite the pain, Fabio DiGiannantonio returned to the track and surprised everyone with an impressive time: “ I didn't expect this time, but I'm happy.
