A few days before the Prosecco DOC UK Round at Donington Park, six drivers from World Superbike Championship (WorldSBK) participated in the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026, taking part in the celebrations of Ducati's 100th anniversary.

Representing the present of Ducati's sporting success while paying homage to its prestigious past, the riders took on the mythical Goodwood hill climb aboard a selection of historic and modern Ducati racing motorcycles, covering more than twenty years of the brand's history.

Current leader of the WorldSBK World Championship, Nicholas Bulega has rediscovered the Ducati Panigale V2, the machine with which he had won the WorldSSP world title in 2023 before joining WorldSBK.

His teammate at Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, Iker Lecuona, rode the legendary 2008 Ducati 1098RS F08, one of the most iconic Superbikes of its era.

Two-time WorldSBK world champion Alvaro Bautista took the handlebars of the spectacular Ducati Desmosedici GP06 MotoGP bike, giving spectators a rare opportunity to admire and hear one of the most iconic machines in Ducati's history in the premier class.

British pilots Tarran Mackenzie et Tommy Bridewell They represented two different generations of Ducati's sporting history. Mackenzie presented the all-new 2026 Panigale V4 RS, while Bridewell revived the iconic 2005 Ducati 999 F05.

Finally Lorenzo Baldassarri completed this prestigious lineup by riding the 2014 Panigale 1199RS, another major model in the evolution of Ducati Superbikes.

The six riders then joined some of Ducati's greatest legends, Carl Fogarty, Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, Shane “Shakey” Byrne, Josh Brookes et Dario Marchetti, during an exceptional event organized on the balcony of Goodwood House, bringing together several generations of champions around the theme of the centenary: "Century Made of Seconds" ("A century built in seconds").

With the British round at Donington Park immediately following Goodwood, it's also a great way to build anticipation before another important weekend in the WorldSBK Championship.
