Much slower than its Australian counterpart, Michelle Pirro nevertheless appreciated the Austrian track and is therefore pleased to appear there as a wild card during this weekend which marks the resumption of the championship after almost a month of summer break.

Michele Pirro : “I immediately liked the new Austrian track, although I didn't race there much. It is certainly a track suited to the qualities of the Ducati, but the tires will play a fundamental role in the second half of the race. I am back from two big races with the Ducati Superbike (editor's note: in the Italian championship), I feel good, the enthusiasm of the fans gives me the greatest joy and, during this GP, I will try to be as fast as Stoner. »
