We discovered in a recent video recounting a powerful slice of life that he was also equipped with a hammer. But even if Andrea Iannone does not yet have that of Lorenzo, he would like to drive home the point of an Austrian Grand Prix with a new victory this Sunday at Silverstone.

A week after his success at the Red Bull Ring, Andrea Iannone was one of the leading protagonists in Brno. Unfortunately, his front tire did not last the distance and the one who left Ducati for Suzuki at the end of the season then had to fall back into line. But not in the pits, so he still brought home points.

Jo the Maniac has sworn to leave the reds with his head held high and with podiums. At Silverstone this weekend, he will not play extra, even if this track is not his favorite: “ I have suffered in the past on this circuit because it is special. It is more made for Formula 1 than for motorcycles. It's not the kind of track I prefer but I think we'll have the opportunity to do well there. Our Desmosedici is now competitive on all types of circuits and this British Grand Prix could well turn out to our advantage ».

Last year, in the rain, Andrea Iannone had finished eighth in the rain with a GP15 while his teammate at Pramac, Danilo Petrucci, finished second ahead of Andrea Dovizioso. His best result obtained at Silverstone is a fourth position achieved in 2012 during Moto2. The Italian is sixth in the championship with 96 points with a victory in Austria.
