Motorcycling is a world whose passion is unavoidable, even if our time wants to persuade us that everything that is motorized with wheels is only an abstract concept of mobility allowing us to go from point A to point B In fact, sensations but also history count, which explains the lasting success of vintage and other old school models which dominate the market. But we can do even better thanks to the mavericks that are designers. Take the example of this ZX-7R rising from its ashes…
For once, we have the sensations, which are the DNA of sports cars, and the story to tell, since this version of the last century of the range Kawasaki told the story of the brand's Superbike epic. The idea comes to us from the brand Kardesign who delighted us with a Honda derived from the CBR1000RR-R streetfighter, H2 and Tuono killer...
So we're working on the muscle so we shouldn't stop at the beautiful appearance of this Kawasaki. Under the dress of the ZX-7R we find the alluring underside of Ninja h2 supercharged with 231 ch. The 1995 bike's huge exhaust gives way to a sleeker contemporary outlet, but the dual headlight styling (now LED) and dual Ram Air intake (the one on the right would be used to supply air to the supercharger) remain true to the ZX -7R original.
At Kardesign, they adopted the exhaust of the Z H2, which is lighter and less bulky than the Ninja h2, maintaining the beautiful sporty green-white decor of the 1995 motorcycle. Something to fall for. Or inspire Akashi's decision-makers?
