Dominique Aegerter scored all his possible points at the Ten Kate Yamaha circuit, giving the Swiss rider 50 points to take the lead in the World Supersport Championship. Lorenzo Baldassarri held on, trying to turn the tide. But on the test track of the former Dutch Superbike champion's team, the mission bordered on the impossible. At the end of the race, the ex-Moto2 rider realized that championships can also be won by rowing. It was better to avoid a repeat of the accident the day before: it left its mark on the rankings...
Ducati efficient again
The final challenge of the cadet series was very intense. For more than half the distance, the Turkish Kawasaki rider,
Can Öncü, and Niccolo Bulega followed the pace of the leaders, before gradually losing contact. The Puccetti team's new driver completed the podium, erasing the disappointment of Saturday's crash. The “Ducatona”, which had just achieved two consecutive podiums, had to settle for fourth place this time. But the regularity of the classification of Niccolo Bulega
could count for a lot in a Supersport championship which promises to be difficult for everyone.

Aegerter doesn't stop
For the Swiss driver, this is his third consecutive victory, a series that began in Aragón, when Aegerter and Baldassarri finished tied. The Italian is now -30 points from the lead, while Bulega is in third position, 39 points behind. In race 2 in the Netherlands, some expected protagonists disappeared from the scene, such as the Frenchman Jules Cluzel, who fell again: the Yamaha rider is not able to regain his former brilliance.
