If the hierarchy remains very uncertain in Superbike for this 8th round of the world championship which takes place this weekend in Most in the Czech Republic, the Supersport category appears to be in the hands of Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP Team), leader of the general classification, who was the fastest during the first two timed practice sessions.

Behind the official Ducati rider, the places of honor are more open, so what will this 20-minute Superpole in the intermediate category have in store for us?

All we know for the moment is that it will take place on a dry track with temperatures of 22° in the air and 30° on dry asphalt, and that Lucas Mahias (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) will take part despite his fall on Friday afternoon which injured his heel and left ankle.

Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) set the first benchmark in 1'35.802 ahead Valentin Debise (GMT94 Yamaha), but at the end of the first flying lap, it is no surprise Nicholas Bulega which displays a very fast 1'34.882 in front Stefano Manzi (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha).

Behind, we find Adrian Huertas (MTM Kawasaki), Yari Montella, Federico Caricasulo (Althea Racing Team), Valentin Debise, Jorge Navarro (Ten Kate Racing Yamaha) and Raffaele De Rosa (Orelac Racing Verdnatura WorldSSP).

In the middle of the session, Bahattin Sofuoğlu (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) comes to third position, when Nicolò Bulega improves in 1'34.803, a new record for the lap of the circuit in place of the 1'34.952 produced jointly by Dominique Aegerter et Lorenzo Baldassarri Last year !

But the Italian does not stop there and displays 1'34.479 in the following passage, which makes us somewhat doubt the point of following the race…

Federico Caricasulo makes a minor mistake, just as Jorge Navarro a few moments later, but he does not get up and holds his right leg.

The first line will therefore be composed of Nicolò Bulega next to Stefano manzi et Raffaele De Rosa (Orelac Racing Verdnatura WorldSSP).
