1936 thus joins Justin Marks , founder and CEO, as well as Avenue Sports Fund , among the team's shareholders. Together, the owners will make significant investments to support the growth and success of the Superfile Trackhouse MotoGP Team, both on the track and commercially, as the championship enters a new era of global expansion.
This investment comes at a pivotal moment for MotoGP. Under the impetus of Liberty Media, with a rapidly growing international fan base and increasing interest from global brands and media partners, MotoGP is building the commercial platform that the quality of its races has long deserved.
Trackhouse, alongside 1936, intends to position itself at the forefront of this growth.
Justin Marks, founder and CEO of Trackhouse: « It is a very exciting moment for the Superfile Trackhouse MotoGP Team to announce the arrival of 1936.
Both groups share the same conviction regarding the global potential of the MotoGP World Championship and the leading role that Trackhouse can play in this particularly promising growth dynamic.
The team now has numerous opportunities to make significant investments in competition, branding, storytelling, and the Trackhouse experience, alongside a diverse and talented group of partners.
Charlie Raposo, founder and CEO of 1936: "We believe that MotoGP is still only at the very beginning of its commercial potential.
The races are arguably among the best in all of motorsport, and the ever-growing fan base is extremely loyal and deeply engaged. It's already a global sport, but there's still considerable room for growth internationally.
Justin has built a team with real ambitions and a brand that stands out from the rest, and we are proud to join him in this adventure to make Trackhouse the most successful MotoGP team, both on and off the track.
We look forward to working alongside the team to develop the most exciting structure in this sport.
