Jerez MotoGP Update at 13 p.m.: Johann Zarco leads the Test!

Today, most of the MotoGP teams met in Jerez for a single test session.

However, we noted the absence of official Ducati, Aprilias and Hafizh Syahrin following his cycling injuries. The good news is that Dani Pedrosa rolls, despite its gliding flight yesterday! THE Suzuki did not take the track.

Somewhat expectedly, Marc Márquez quickly moved to the top of the standings for this IRTA test day on the Jerez-Angel Nieto circuit.

His time of 1'38.232 was, however, 3 tenths slower than his best lap in qualifying, and the Honda driver was then overtaken by Johann zarco who completed his 28th lap in 1'37.937, a few hundredths better than his time in Q2.

The boiling Cal Crutchlow and the valiant Maverick Vinales then came between the two men, but things have only just begun, since the track will remain open until 2 p.m.

This evening we will provide a more complete update on these tests which will inevitably have an influence on the next French Grand Prix…
