Arriving in the land of the rising sun well before the majority of competitors, the French pilot first went today by train from Tokyo to the province of Hamamatsu, where he visited the installations of the manufacturer of exhausts Sakura Industry, one of the sponsors of the Tech 3 team.
From there, after receiving his official Yamaha employee ID card, Johann zarco was received as it should be Yamaha Communication Plaza in Iwata, before taking the train back to Tokyo, approximately 200 kilometers away.
A certainly busy day which will be followed tomorrow by the pre-event organized by Dorna (race in Motegi against Jonas Folger, Alvaro Bautista, Scott Redding, Aleix Espargaro, Tito Rabat, Alex Rins et Takaaki Nakagami) as well as an afternoon again under the aegis of Yamaha Factory which will present all its riders… except Valentino Rossi !
