For this fourth warm up session of the year, the air temperature was 14° and that of the track 18°. The sun was shining and the wind speed was zero. The main absentee was Philipp Ottl, who broke his collarbone during testing and was hoping to have surgery today. Here is the x-ray of his broken collarbone:
Albert Arenas dominated the first half of this warm up session, in 1'44.771. John mcphee, who injured his left little finger during practice, crashed in turn 9. Aron canet then took first position in 1'47.561. Darryn Binder fell without gravity in the fast turn 4.
Aron Canet gradually picked up the pace in 1'47.413, 0.1 ahead of Jorge Martin and Albert Arenas, 0.2 ahead Juanfran Guevara and 0.5 ahead of Nicolo Bulega. Maria Herrera fell without seriousness, but apparently with some pain in her right knee.
