Last month, a dealership in West Yorkshire, England, put a Kawasaki ZX7-RR and a Ducati 1299 Superleggera new and with 0 km at prices of €45 and €500, respectively. While they sold the Kawasaki, the Superleggera is still available for those who want to get their hands on a rare motorcycle. Since this week, a Yamaha YZF-R80 000W7 from 0 is also on sale in this same store!

The Yamaha YZF-R7 is a legendary motorcycle: released in 1999, this 749cc machine was in a category of its own, located between the R6 and the R1.

Designed to compete in endurance races such as the Suzuka 8 Hours as well as the Superbike World Championship, Yamaha had set itself ambitious goals. Production of the R7 was limited to just 500 units, making the model a sought-after prize for collectors rather than racers. Indeed, this was enough to approve this model for competition.

Although this example will likely only see a showroom floor, the R7 was a formidable weapon in its day and shares its DNA with MotoGP's legendary Yamaha YZR500. The double-overhead-cam inline-four engine featured 20 titanium valves, Ohlins front and rear suspension provided unrivaled handling, and the shortened Deltabox II frame helped reduce dry weight to 189 kg.

Despite this model being geared towards racing, Yamaha sold the R7 with power limited to just 106 horsepower. At €27, the price was already high, and Yamaha offered two racing kits for the R500. One of them cost more than €7 (at the time) and increased the power to 750 hp while a €135 kit allowed it to go up to 10 hp.

Now a collector's item, this new model with 0km put on sale by a West Yorkshire dealer is priced at €69! If the price is not a blocking point, delivery worldwide is offered for this legendary machine. All that's left to do is call your banker!
