The 2018 Supersport 300 world champion and current 4th in the championship, Ana Carrasco, suffered a serious fall during a private test in Estoril, Portugal, riding her Kawasaki Ninja 400 from the Provec team.
Conscious, but with fractures to the D4 and D6 vertebrae, the 23-year-old pilot was evacuated to the Sao Francisco de Xavier hospital in Lisbon.
She is waiting patiently before being able to return to Barcelona but wanted to reassure her fans with this message on social networks.
“Hello everyone, I'm fine, I'm in the Hospital in Portugal, I had a fall this morning and I've hurt my back a bit, I have fracture of the D4 and D6 vertebrae but I feel good. Let's see if I can go to Barcelona soon and start with my recovery as soon as possible” pic.twitter.com/NMLz2hN5cx
