After Albacete, Le Mans and Barcelona, it is on the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia that the competitors of the Junior World Championship will meet to end the first half-season. Two riders stand out at the top of the standings: Sergio Garcia on a Honda from Team Estrella Galicia and Dennis Foggia on a KTM from Team VR46 Riders Academy.

The Spanish precedes the Italian by two points. They are ahead of Jaume Masia, and the fast Alonso Lopez, who won the only two races he managed to finish. Jeremy Alcoba is also in the fight for the title, currently only 13 points behind the leader.

The fight is undecided because if Garcia has won an event, Foggia has never won, just like Masia, while Lopez has two victories and Alcoba one. Frenchman Andy Verdoïa occupies twenty-fifth position with 5 points.

In Moto2, there were only three races. Ricky Cardus, who did not participate in the first, won the other two, which means he leads the Championship with 50 points. Behind his Kalex, Hector Garzo (the surprise of qualifying for the German GP with the fifth fastest time) places his Mistral Tech 3 in second position, three points behind.

Next grouped for third place are Eric Granado with 40 points, Steven Odendaal with 39, Joe Roberts with 38 and Dimas Ekky with 37. Frenchman Corentin Perolari occupies twelfth position with 15 points.
